LLGF Fishing Universities: Become an angler or improve your fishing skills in just one weekend!
Do you find people wait until you are reeling in a fish before they give a clue as to what to do? We aren't BORN with this knowledge. That's why we started the "Ladies, Let's Go Fishing!" University series, for training and real hands-on experience for women to learn how to fish, and a chance to go fishing on the water! 16 years and 6,000 graduates later, the ladies have spoken. THIS is what they needed. For ladies who are already fishing and want to improve – there's a classroom for their level, too! Remember, "No Yelling!" Seminars are open to the public – you don't need to belong to any group to attend!
The registration includes the Welcome Party, Saturday instruction, hands-on practice, use of equipment, lunch, goody bag and more! There is nowhere else that you can spend one-on-one time with the top names in fishing! Plus meet some fun gals! Learn more in one weekend than you can in years of trying!

Lunch and Educational "Dress for Fishing Success" Fashion Show
Hands-On Skill Stations and exhibits to learn the secret techniques people don't usually show you - for practicing casting, knot tying, boat maneuvering, landing and releasing, net casting, gaffing, trailer backing, electronics usage and more, including reeling against a swimmer and one-on-one instruction (exact stations vary per seminar)
Sunday
Test your fishing skills on the water on a charter fishing trip, inshore, group boat or party boat depending on the area.
Make new friends!

Treasure Coast University features Famous and Popular Captains: Capt. Peter Wright, Capt. Marcia Foosaner, Capt. George Mittler and Capt. Jim Anson! Other great captains and anglers will be there Saturday afternoon to show hands-on skills! Fishing there is great for offshore, inshore/river and party boat!

For women who have attended a seminar, LLGF is expanding its local chapter pilot program to provide networking opportunities. There's one in Lauderdale and more to come, plus membership at large, stay posted. You can enter those organizations with knowledge of fishing skills learned at the seminar!
